Start an adventure which features branching storylines for the first time in the series, where the choices you make affect your current mission, and your success or failure in missions can change the overall structure of the story. These dynamic Strike Force missions allow you to control a number of different objects, including jet fighters, unmanned aerial vehicles and even robots. Your progress might even go on to change the plans of the evil Raul Menendez – the story’s antagonist. Call of Duty: Black Ops II features a stunning HD experience, using the most advanced textures, lighting and shadowing systems in the history of the series. With the unique second screen experience at the heart of Wii U, players can join the action in a full Call of Duty experience from the Wii U GamePad's screen. The GamePad's touch screen can also be used to view multiplayer maps, call in score streaks and choose loadouts. Multiplayer introduces you to some of 2025’s state-of-the-art equipment and weapons, as well as a new Zombies experience with its own campaign along with the main story, plus new modes, making for a more engaging community experience. The game also supports up to four controllers, including the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, for thrilling living room multiplayer encounters. Other multiplayer options include Create-A-Class, a new ‘pick-10’ allocation system allowing for a number of combinations of Create-A-Class content. Rather than having to take content from each category, you can instead trade items from one category for extra items in another – any combination of 10 items makes almost anything possible. Score Streaks reward you for helping your team win the game: capturing flags, defending your fellow comrades with an assault shield, getting kills and assisting others are all examples of actions that help your team win, and thus give you score. In League Play, face others based on your skill level. By playing a small number of matches to establish your skill rating, you’ll be placed into a division with players of a similar standing. Keep winning and you’ll move up the ranks – if you keep progressing steadily you’ll move up the ladder and into upper divisions. Another fun feature is CODcasting which allows you to commentate on your favourite matches. League play and CODcasting combine to make Call of Duty: Black Ops II even more exciting to play, and provide you with the tools to commentate on your favourite games.
